The Standing Desk Certification Matrix

Every model's GREENGUARD, BIFMA and CARB status in one filterable table — with a verify link, and an honest 'Not published' where a brand stays silent.

By Stephen V.Updated How we research

This is the table the rest of the site points back to: which standing desks actually document a GREENGUARD Gold, BIFMA or CARB2 certification — and which simply don't say. Every row links to UL's registry so you can confirm it yourself, because a certificate is only worth anything if you can check it.

How to read it

A means the manufacturer publicly documents the certification and you can verify it at the linked registry — it is notour lab result, because we don't run a lab. A ~ means partial or SKU-dependent (verify the exact top). A means the brand publishes nothing, which is its own answer. Use the filter to show only GREENGUARD Gold models, or search a brand.

These entries reflect what each manufacturer publicly documents plus our own registry checks, and they can lapse. A "✓" is not our lab result — we don't run a lab. It means the certificate is documented and you can confirm it yourself with the UL SPOT link on each model. Where a brand publishes nothing, we mark it "Not published" rather than guessing.

Why the gaps matter

The pattern is the story: the most certified desks — Uplift V2, Fully Jarvis's laminate line — carry GREENGUARD Gold, and the budget Amazon desks overwhelmingly publish nothing. That doesn't make the budget desks unsafe; it means their materials are undocumented, and you should treat them accordingly — prefer a bamboo top, insist on at least CARB2 compliance, and break them in properly. When the certificate is genuinely the point, the honest recommendation is the documented desk even when it's direct-only and pays us nothing.

This matrix is reviewed quarterly and corrected when a certification lapses or a model is discontinued. If you find an entry that's out of date, tell usand we'll fix it.

Questions

Frequently asked

Which standing desks are GREENGUARD Gold certified?
The Uplift V2 and Fully Jarvis laminate lines document GREENGUARD Gold. Most budget Amazon desks publish no certification. Use the filter above to see only Gold-certified models, and verify each at UL SPOT.
Does 'Not published' mean the desk is unsafe?
No — it means the brand documents no third-party certificate for that model, so its materials are undocumented rather than proven bad. Prefer a bamboo top and ventilate the break-in.
How current is this table?
It reflects manufacturer publications and our registry checks, is reviewed quarterly, and each row links to UL SPOT so you can confirm the live status yourself before buying.

We do not run a testing lab, and we do not pretend to. We verify certifications in the certifying body's own registry, compile specs from manufacturer manuals, and cite health claims to recognized authorities — by name, with a link. Where we could not verify something, we say so on the page rather than quietly leaving it out. Read our full method.
