How our links work

Product buy buttons route through a /go redirect that adds our Amazon Associates tag and then sends you to Amazon. That tag is how Amazon knows the referral came from us. It changes nothing about the price you pay or the product you receive.

Where the prices come from

Every price on this site is pulled live from Amazon's Product API and stamped with the date we fetched it. Prices and availability change constantly. If our data is more than 48 hours old, we remove the number and show "Check price" instead of a figure that may have rotted. Amazon's price at checkout is always the one that counts.

Commission never affects a ranking

This is the important one. We rank products by fit for the buyer — certification, materials, cost-to-own and ergonomics — following our published methodology. Commission rates are not an input. The clearest proof: the most certified standing desks are often direct-only and pay us nothing, and we still rank them first when the certificate is what matters. When a cheaper product is the better buy, we say so, at our own expense.

Other retailers

Amazon is our default retailer. Occasionally we link a brand's own store directly — usually when the genuinely certified pick is not sold on Amazon. Where we link a retailer we earn nothing from, that link is a plain reference link and earns no commission.

No fabricated endorsements

We do not run a testing lab and do not claim to. We do not publish fabricated reviews, ratings, review counts or "as tested" claims. Our scores are editorial judgments from a published rubric, and we never present them as customer ratings.
